Reviews
This book is designed primarily for the novice photographer with some understanding of SLR-speak. If that describes you, it's a wonderful book. It's a lot more interesting and user-friendly than the instruction manual for the 30D, but if you're a serious amateur or a pro who's converted to digital, it's simplistic. That's not to say I haven't found it helpful. There isn't really anything that I didn't already know, but the presentation is well done and it makes for great quick reference. I was hoping for something a little more advanced when I ordered it, so in that respect I was disappointed. So, about the 4 star rating I gave it... It's an average: 3 stars if you're an adept photographer, 5 stars if you're not so experienced.
